With a raft of customer-focused technical enhancements and bespoke equipment upgrades, the TERRASTORM Ambulance raises the bar even higher for emergency response, no matter how challenging the conditions or how remote the location is.
Based on the rugged and durable body structure and platform of the Volkswagen Crafter van, and a MAN TGE 4Motion drivetrain, the Ambulance is part of the acclaimed TERRASTORM line-up, which also includes Coach, Cargo, Camper R/V, Double-Cab Chassis and Minesite specialist models. Like every variant, the TERRASTORM Ambulance is designed, engineered and constructed to the most demanding heavy duty off-road standards.
TORSUS builds and fully equips the TERRASTORM Ambulance range to meet every customer requirement, including Type A, Type B and Type C ambulance specifications. Type A ambulances fulfil requirements where the urgency is relatively low. Type B vehicles are suited for more rapid intervention, while Type C ambulances are equipped to provide intensive care services.
Capable of crossing the most demanding terrain in the harshest weather conditions and requiring no roads to operate, the core mission of the TERRASTORM Ambulance is to deliver emergency medical response and save lives in situations where conventional ambulances cannot operate.
