Learning Programme announced at Medical Technology UK 2022

Medical Technology UK will take place at the Coventry Building Society Arena on 16-17 March 2022.

In association with our partner, Medical Engineers, Medical Technology UK will focus solely on the needs of the UK medical device manufacturing community. It is the sister show to the highly regarded and respected Medical Technology Ireland, now in its fourth extremely successful year.

Medical Technology UK will comprise an Exhibition that will be stacked with over 120 leading specialist companies from all tiers of the medical device manufacturing supply chain.  The Learning Programme features a comprehensive series of technical presentations taking place over the two days of the Event, presented by experts in their field.  See the full programme at www.medicaltechnologyuk.com

In addition, the increasingly popular Women in MedTech Forum (so successful in Ireland) will make its debut in the UK to discuss key issues affecting women in the medical device engineering and manufacturing world.  Chaired by Dr Helen Meese, Founder & CEO of The Care Machine Ltd, speakers include a team of senior bioengineers from DePuy Synthes discussing the importance of including women in a product’s lifecycle and Sam Moore from Medical Engineers who will advise how to engage, motivate and retain women in the MedTech sector.

Colin Martin, co-founder and Director of Medtech Media Ltd, the organisers of the new event, explains that “there is no other event in the UK with the degree of focus that Medical Technology UK will have. Other, more general, design, engineering and manufacturing events exist, however none address the unique needs of the medical device design and manufacturing community with such clarity.”

“We’re pleased to also be launching the Women in MedTech forum at the Show, which will be shining a light on the incredible, ground-breaking work female engineers are doing in the industry.”

The March 2022 Exhibition is virtually sold out: Colin Martin notes that “Jason and I are very pleased with the reception the event received when we talked to the market. To date there are just four stands available. The event uptake exceeded our expectations and clearly demonstrates the demand for a highly focussed show of this kind.”

Visitors can register for free entry to the Exhibition, Learning Programme and Women in MedTech Forum (including free parking) at www.medicaltechnologyuk.com
Medical Technology UK will be open at 09.30 – 17.00 on Wednesday 16 March and at 09.30 – 15.30 on Thursday 17 March.
