Rollon, a global leader in linear motion solutions, worked with brake pad specialist Sangsin ENG to automate a demanding production line without compromising on cleanliness, speed or long-term reliability. The project combined a YZ gantry built on Rollon’s Speedy Rail SAB actuators with a Robot Transfer Unit powered by ELM actuators, handling component pick-and-place and transfer across the full line.
Self-supporting actuators with hard-anodized surfaces and polyamide-coated rollers eliminated the need for grease, a critical requirement in Sangsin ENG’s contamination-sensitive environment, while sealed housings protected internal mechanisms from dust and debris. Since installation, Sangsin ENG has reported faster, quieter motion and reduced maintenance demands compared with its previous in-house system.
